Hello Professor and Class. I found that the sublte mind exercise was a lot easier for me to do thtn the loving kindness exercise. I felt more in control of the session becuase I could do it without listening to instruction from another voice or audio.
Spiritual wellness, mental and physical wellness are all very connected. It is understoiod that we cannot truly be healthy until we are a complete balance of physical health, mental health and spiritual health.
I personally know that I am lacking in all three areas. I have however just set a goal to become more physically active. I ahave notice over the last year since my stres levels have increased, that my body is actaully suffereing frm aches, pains and a lack of physical alignment. I may even need to see a chiropractor because I am really not doing very well. I want to also look into acupuncture as a way to feel better. Hopefully if I can exerxise, I will be able to relive a lot of the negative feelings and stress.

Exercise is a great way to feel better. I noticed once I started exercising in the morning I had more energy during the day, felt more relaxed and was not so run down. It is amazing what a difference something like working out for 30 minutes a day can make in your life. I wish you luck and I hope you soon start to feel better.
ReplyDeleteExercise has done so much for me. It has managed my anxiety and panic attacks with out the use of medications, clears my head of daily frustrations, and teaches my daughter healthy life habits. I am loving these exercises even if I don't agree with them because they give me another outlet. I commend you on your goal and would love to hear an update in the last week of class!
