Hello Class. Overall, I think that I am not very healthy. I would rate myself a 5 on all 3 spectrum's of health (physical, spiritual, phsychological). I have been under so much stress that I think that it has bogged me down. There have also been personal tragedies over that last couple of years that have been a big contributor to this.
I would like to start exercising regular for my physical goal. For my spiritual goal I would like to start focusing what I have no control on to a higher source of power, which is difficult since I am not very religious. My psychological goal is going to be to think more positive on a regular basis.
I think that the best way for me to work toward these goals is to get my overall life in order. I just got divorced and am trying to move to a new house that I just bought, but there is a lot of work that needs to get done on the place before I can move in. Once this is done then I think and hope that I can move forward with most of my goals.
I did find the Crime of the century exercise to be somewhat relaxing, although maybe it was just because I was tired. I do not think that this would be something that I would want to do on a regular basis.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI truly understand how you feel. There are many things that arise in our lives that affect us in many different ways. Dealing with tragedy and loss can affect your physical, spiritual, and psychological wellness. Your goals are very attainable. I myself are trying to stay more phyically active so that I can get my health in order. This is not something that is very easy but it is something that must be done. Spiritually I think everyone has there own way of doing things. I look to God for spiritual guidance. I have not been as spiritual as I once was but I do plan to get myself back on the right track. Good luck with your goals. You can attain them with just a little bit of hard work.

Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteWhen everything seems impossible remember that you always have your sense of humor. Nothing clears your mind like a good laugh. Its good for the heart, its good for the soul and you may even burn a few calories. If you cant find something in your life to laugh at, go on youtube and laugh at someone else. Trust me there is plenty to see.
When I need comforting, I go to cuteoverload.com. There is nothing like precious animal pictures to ground you. These are just some little tricks that help me when I am having an extremely rough moment or even day! I guess distraction does work.
